The Kolsai Lakes and Kaindy Lake are about 300 km from Almaty — roughly five hours each way. The route is possible in a day but runs 14–16 hours, so a two-day version with a night in Saty is more common. The last stretch to Kaindy is an unpaved track with a ford, covered in local off-road vehicles.
The route can be done in a day, but that means 14–16 hours with very little time at the lakes themselves. We honestly recommend two days with a night in Saty — that leaves real time at Kaindy and Kolsai rather than twenty minutes for a photo.
On the two-day version the chauffeur stays with you: on the second morning you set off without waiting for transport.
Kolsai is reached on asphalt almost to the shore. The final stretch to Kaindy is an unpaved mountain track with a ford, covered in local off-road vehicles; the chauffeur drives you to the changeover and waits.
In winter the Kaindy track is often closed by snow, and the route is limited to Kolsai — we will tell you at booking.

A standard city transfer can be with you in 15–30 minutes if a car is free. Airport meets and requests for a specific car are best booked a day ahead; the S-Class and minibuses two to three days ahead. Events, delegations and long-distance routes need at least a week.
No. The figure is confirmed before departure and fixed. Traffic, a delayed flight or a detour do not change it. It is recalculated only if you add stops or extend the time yourself — and we tell you before that happens.
Meetings where the car is seen, and trips for two or three — the S-Class. A family or group of up to six, heavy luggage or skis — the V-Class. More than six people — the Sprinter. If in doubt, describe the job to the dispatcher.
