Almaty to Astana by road is about 1,200 km and roughly 15 hours. Flying is faster and cheaper, so a road transfer is booked for cancelled flights, bulky equipment or a journey with stops along the way. Two chauffeurs work the leg in shifts.
In most cases flying between Almaty and Astana is faster and cheaper: an hour and a half in the air against fifteen hours on the road. We say so plainly, because we have no interest in selling a trip you will regret.
A road transfer makes sense in specific situations: weather cancellations, moving bulky equipment or samples, a journey with stops in Balkhash and Karaganda, fear of flying, or a business trip with several points along the way.
On a leg like this two chauffeurs always work in shifts — a safety requirement. The plan includes meal and rest stops, and the night section is driven by a rested chauffeur.
The price is fixed in advance and covers fuel, chauffeur meals and the return leg if the trip is one-way.

No. The figure is confirmed before departure and fixed. Traffic, a delayed flight or a detour do not change it. It is recalculated only if you add stops or extend the time yourself — and we tell you before that happens.
A standard city transfer can be with you in 15–30 minutes if a car is free. Airport meets and requests for a specific car are best booked a day ahead; the S-Class and minibuses two to three days ahead. Events, delegations and long-distance routes need at least a week.
